In a few more days, our capital will host the next major competition in weightlifting. Many high-ranking guests are visiting our country before the Asian Senior Championship.
In particular, Kanibek Osmonaliyev, the winner of the Olympic Games, 4-time world champion, currently working as the director of the Kyrgyz Weightlifting Development Center, visited the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan. The representative of the neighboring country was welcomed by the first deputy chairman of the federation Shakhrillo Mahmudov. During the conversation, which took place in a sincere spirit, the parties agreed to further develop the sport of weightlifting, exchange experience and establish close cooperation between the two countries.
It should be noted that the members of the Kyrgyz national team are currently preparing for the Asian Championship in Chirchik.
