As you know, our compatriot Akbar Jorayev won 2 gold medals in men’s -109 kg weight category at the World Championship held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in September of this year. He once again proved that he is unmatched in the world.
Our wrestler, who defended the honor of the country, raised our flag high in the world arena, and caused our national anthem to be played, was awarded a Chevrolet Gentra car by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan. Shakhrillo Mahmudov, Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan – First Deputy Chairman of the Weightlifting Federation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, took part in the award ceremony.
